Birth Day Celebrations Continue

I can't think of a more natural way to celebrate new life, than to observe "mother earth's" tiny miracles all around us.  It seems fitting that Stephanie's first outing with Bennett would be to take walk with her family through a nature preserve along the Green River.  I had fun trying to take photos of what I thought was a hummingbird, but in reality was a hummingbird moth.

Emma's 5th birthday party celebration was planned for August 14,  An August birthday lends itself well to water activities and lots of fun in the sun.  Beach ball invitations were delivered to about a dozen girls and the backyard created the perfect stage for a self-entertaining party.  This was the ideal post-baby big-sister birthday bash, and we were grateful that the weather cooperated.  Jill, Linley and Max drove up from Murray to join the tail-end of the party. They would take me home with them later that day so that I could catch an early morning flight back to Korea.  Happy Birthday, Emma!

Can you think of a better gift from Grandpa, the polymer guy?

This was the end to a busy but beautiful summer with my children!  While there are always a few tears shed to be leaving my family in the states, I was ready to join Bob back in Seoul.  He is an amazing husband and father and my best friend!  I miss him when we are apart.

  1. How long were you in the States? I enjoyed reading all of your posts and catching up on your summer. It looked like a lot of fun. When we get back to Utah, I will have to get the details of your vacation in Moab. We haven't done anything there except drive through it a million times as we drove back and forth from Texas to Utah.
